Stefano Mainero, EPN Consulting Founder & CEO, is going to talk in London about Horizon Europe for UK companies at the launch of a new study exploring the export priorities of the UK ITS sector.
From 01 Jan 2024 the UK is again eligible to participate in the EU Horizon Europe and Copernicus funding scheme as “associate country”. The applicants – either public or private – could choose to play roles of partner or coordinator in several kinds of projects: RIA (Research and Innovation Actions, 100% funded), IA (Innovation Actions, 70% funded) and CSA (Coordination and Support Actions, 100% funded) and several sectors.
As soon as the news was published, EPN Consulting set up a “UK-based task force” to assist clients of any kind, size, sector. More details will be provided during Stefano’s presentation on 9th Nov 2023.
As part of International Trade Week, ITS UK will be launching a new report, developed in partnership with the Department for Transport, highlighting the key overseas markets for UK companies delivering transport technology solutions.
The report builds on a survey of over 100 businesses to examine the export potential of the sector and how industry and Government can work together to promote UK transport technology capabilities on the international stage. The report is a significant development for the industry, and will allow us to prioritise our overseas engagement going forward.
