2020 Draft EU Budget

On 5th June 2019, the Commission adopted the draft EU budget for 2020. It will invest €168.3 billion in commitments in a more competitive European economy, promoting solidarity and security on both sides of the EU’s borders.
This budget is the last one under the current 2014-2020 long-term EU budget. It is designed to optimise funding for existing programmes, to boost European added value and achievements and to provide an optimal transition to the new generation of programmes starting in 2021.
