The EC and the UK Government have reached an agreement in principle on the association of the UK to Horizon Europe and Copernicus


In a joint declaration, the European Commission and the UK Government have cemented the UK’s participation in the esteemed programmes of Horizon Europe and Copernicus.

In order to swiftly enact the necessary legal instruments, both parties are embarking on an exciting shared journey. These instruments will undergo a meticulous process involving the Specialised Committee on Participation in Union Programmes, with the ultimate approval resting in the hands of the Council of the European Union.
